Robbie was referred to TEAM for assessment after he
displayed severely aggressive behavior and learning
problems. In addition to Autism Spectrum and Mood
Disorders, TEAM identified previously undiagnosed
developmental delays. Plus, overmedication was
giving Robbie heart arrhythmia. With proper diagnosis,
Robbie's medications were brought into balance, he
was able to attain special services at school, and he and
his loved ones were enrolled in individual and family
psychotherapy. One year later, Robbie's alertness and
social interaction have increased, incidents of
aggression have decreased, and his learning has
improved dramatically. TEAM doctors provide
ongoing medical and psychiatric treatment as well as case management, allowing Robbie to strive toward
his full potential.
